Blister Wool is a game changer!

Oh my gosh, I just tried the Blister Wool for my long hike last weekend and it was amazing! I usually get blisters no matter what, but this stuff actually worked. My feet felt so much better, absolutely no rubbing or hot spots. I also picked up a Neck Gaiter, and it's super soft and kept me warm without being bulky. I'm telling all my hiking buddies about Wuru Wool. I'm definitely coming back for more gear soon!

I'm in NorCal, and my last order took about 6 days. They ship out of the US, so factor that in. I don't think they have express shipping options from what I recall.

Just found out about the Blister Wool stuff. Does it actually work? Like, is it better than just using moleskin or those Compeed patches?

Oh yeah, it's a game changer. I used to get blisters all the time on my heels, and the wool totally prevents them. Moleskin always bunched up for me, and the patches sometimes peel off. The wool just stays put and feels natural.

I'd say it's way better than moleskin. It creates like, a natural cushion and friction buffer. Compeed patches work but sometimes rip off skin when you remove them, the wool doesn't have that issue. Plus you can just add more if you need it.

They usually have bigger sales around Black Friday/Cyber Monday and sometimes an end of season clearance. I snagged some base layers for about 25% off last December.

I'm pretty sure the Blister Wool is US made, but for the apparel, I think the Merino is sourced globally and then cut/sewn elsewhere. Not 100% on all their stuff, but their Blister Wool definitely is.

The website says their Blister Wool is US made, but I don't recall seeing 'Made in USA' tags on all the clothing. I think some parts of the production might be here, but not necessarily the whole garment.

I've got both Smartwool and Wuru Wool socks. Wuru's are definitely more cushioned, and I feel like they manage sweat a bit better for me on longer hikes. Haven't tried Icebreaker for socks though.

For me, Wuru Wool is on par with Icebreaker for comfort, maybe even a little softer. Smartwool feels a bit more durable but not as soft outta the box. I think it comes down to personal preference for feel.
